Ridership spikes as city tweaks bus lane again

The municipality says the Confederation Way bus lane has made a big difference.

It says bus ridership is up 28 percent since the lane was introduced.

It also says pick up time from the city has improved by about 20 minutes.

The lane is also being changed again – starting Monday, it stops being bus-only 100 metres before Highway 63.

That way, everyone can use both left turn lanes onto the highway.
