RMWB is looking for your input for downtown development

The City Centre Action Program (CCAP), a series of public engagements that will guide development of the downtown core over the next decade, launches Thursday, September 15, the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo announced today.

“CCAP is an opportunity for the public to learn about the Municipality’s ideas for downtown redevelopment, to ask questions and to voice their own opinions and thoughts,” said spokesperson Christy Fong.

On Thursday, September 15 at 5 p.m., Jennifer Keesmaat will be giving a talk titled “Great Places, Great Energy, Great City Centre,” followed by a panel discussion.

On Friday, September 16, from noon to 3 p.m., information on the CCAP will be on display for the public. The CCAP team will be available to answer questions.

On Saturday, September 17, from noon to 3 p.m., the CCAP team will be hosting a family-oriented open house that will feature a BBQ, games for kids and the opportunity to talk about the future of downtown.

All CCAP events are at the Municipality’s Future Forward Place building at 9717 Franklin Avenue in Fort McMurray.
