The Municipality is giving you a chance to have your say on the future of Transit in our community.
They’re holding public consultations on the Transit Master Plan downtown, in Janvier, in Anzac, in Saprae Creek and in Conklin.
“We’re exploring methods of increasing the appeal of public transit” said Robert Kirby, Director of Transit Services. “Our goal is to make transit the preferred way of getting around the region,” he said.
If you can’t attend one of the formal sessions you can still have your say by filling out the survey online.
The in-person sessions are as follows:
Fort McMurray
Keyano Theatre (Recital Theatre)

Janvier

Free Regional Transit Service will be offered between 3:15 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. on the main road.
Saprae Creek

Refreshments will be provided.
Free Regional Transit Service will be offered between 6:45 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. around the neighbourhood.
Anzac
Anzac recreation Centre
September 10, 2015, 6-8 p.m.
Free Regional Transit Service will be offered in Gregoire Estates and Anzac from 5:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. (in the subdivision and along highway 881). Please be at the end of your driveway to wait for a ride.
Conklin

Free Regional Transit Service will be offered from 10:45-11:15 a.m. on the main road.
