Anyone that calls the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo “home”, will agree that the potential in this community is vast, immeasurable and worth talking about. On March 30, 2012, TEDxFortMcMurray will give our ambassadors a chance to reach out to the world, to showcase the way that we are changing lives and shaping our future.
And now we’re reaching out to you in the community to tell us who we should be talking to and who you want to hear.
The criteria is simple: we want passion. If you believe that something we are doing here is an “idea worth sharing”, if you believe that something we are doing here can inspire, teach, motivate or all of the above, or that the beauty of your message alone is something that people need to hear, contact us.
TEDxFortMcMurray – an independently organized event licensed by TED – will take place at Holy Trinity High School in the Suncor Energy Center for the Performing Arts. The theme is “Sharing Our Potential”; it’s time to give our community a voice.
