Snye residents accuse municipality of cutting off access

People living near the Snye are speaking out about plans to close access to the river.
Some residents say they’ve been told by the municipality that private access to the Snye will be closed down because of the new downtown redevelopment.
The Snye area is part of the region earmarked for new buildings, as well as the new bridge to Macdonald Island Park.
But no specifics have been released about what the area’s supposed to look like after the development is finished; the municipality has not publicly said that access to the river will be restricted or ended.
