Southern leg of Keystone XL to be finished by end of month

The southern part of the Keystone XL oilsands pipeline is expected to be done by the end of the month, according to Bloomberg News.

TransCanada’s 700,000 barrel per day pipeline will ship crude from Cushing Oklahoma to the Gulf Coast.

The company says it will start filling the line shortly after construction is done.

The completion target is before the end of the year.

It’s questionable that decision from the Obama Administration on the northern leg of the line will be made this year.
