Still no charges in Thickwood head-on crash

It’s been more than a week since a drunk driver caused a head-on collision on Thickwood Boulevard, and still nobody’s been charged.
It happened last Wednesday when 39-year old Tim Murphy was hit head-on and severely injured.
Writing in the Cape Breton Post, Murphy’s wife Verna is thanking the community here and back home for their support and help since the accident.
She says doctors estimate her husband will take six months to recover from his injuries, but that he’s determined to beat those odds.
