Suncor is looking to China to help fix its shortage of highly skilled labour in the oil sands.
Reuters reports that the company is seeking new partnerships with Chinese companies to help build its new oil sands projects.
New CEO Steve Williams made those comments at an energy conference in Beijing.
He says Chinese partners may be able to help with rising costs for Suncor, which have helped knock down the share price by 25% over the last 12 months.
