For the fourth straight year, Syncrude has been named one of Alberta’s Top Employers.
The annual competition is run by Mediacorp Canada.
Its panel said Syncrude had exceptional benefits and skills development for employees, like vacation allowance for new hires and planning assistance for retirement.
It also noted the company’s annual bursary it gives to children of employees or retirees for postsecondary education.
The company says those perks are vital to attracting retaining the calibre of employees it needs.
