Keyano College is reopening the Sport & Wellness Centre tomorrow.
The colleges closed the facility at 6 p.m. yesterday because of low water pressure in the downtown area. They also gave the public notice this morning that the doors remained closed.
The RMWB said crews finished repairs to a water main leak on Haineault St. that was found Saturday morning. But in a statement, Keyano officials say there’s more work to be done in the building.
“Though the Municipality has repaired the water main that caused the closure, the SSWC will remain closed throughout Monday to complete building maintenance stemming from the water pressure issue.”
The college is apologizing for any inconvenience.
The Municipality says water pressure should be restored through the lower townsite.
