Tailings Consortium hosts media tour

After only a few months in existence, the seven-company Oil Sands Tailings Consortium says progress is being made in sharing tailings technology.
Consortium executive director Alan Fair says the research-sharing group represents a change of strategy — and that companies now realize there is no “one size fits all” solution to the problem.
The consortium hosted several media representatives this week at four of the companies’ sites.
