Teenager dies at oil sands site south of town

A 19-year old man has died after being crushed at Harvest Energy’s Black Gold site, 10 kilometres southeast of Conklin.
Occupational Health and Safety says it happened while workers were moving a rig at 1:30 yesterday afternoon.
A ramp fell on top of the man; he was pronounced dead on the scene.
He was employed by Naybors Drilling.
