There is a new timeline for completion from the province on the proposed long-term care facility at Parson’s Creek.

Reports say that the province is working on a design, and the completed $50-million project will be  finished by December 2014.

This is later than the original plan to be open by the Spring of 2014.

The facility should house 100 beds, with an expansion to potentially include 50 more.

The province also is looking at building Willow Square and the facility at the same time.
