There’s going to be some major construction on the Thickwood Overpass over the next two weeks.
Starting June 5, drivers merging onto southbound 63 from Thickwood Boulevard will be shifted over to the west side of the on-ramp, so workers can build a second merging lane beside it.
Also on June 5, only one lane of the off-ramp onto Thickwood Boulevard will be available from 8 am to 5 pm, but eastbound traffic coming across the bridge will not be affected.
The whole project is scheduled to be finished by October 31.
