U.S. environmental group takes out newspaper ad attacking oil sands

The oil sands were featured in a full-page ad in the USA Today newspaper this morning.
But the ad wasn’t too flattering.
The group Forest Ethics took out the ad to urge food companies Dole and Chiquita to stop using fuel made from oil sands bitumen to deliver their bananas.
The group refers to oil from northern Alberta as “extreme fossil fuels”.
