The 2015-16 United Way Campaign officially gets underway tomorrow as the Fort McMurray chapter will unveil its fundraising target during a breakfast at Shell Place.
Breakfast gets underway at 7:30 a.m. in the Shell Place ballroom, that’s where the fundraising target will be announced, it’s also where the first campaign portrait will be taken.
“There’s a couple of key things that will happen at the breakfast, we will be talkinga bout how much money we’re going to be attempting to raise and why we’re doing that,” said Russell Thomas, Director of Communications and Community Impact.
They’ll also be cutting the ribbon on the Red Poll Centre at about 8:30 once the breakfast ceremonies are completed.
