United Way hits 10% mark

The local United Way is off to a hot start in its 2012 campaign.
It says it’s already raised more than 750 thousand dollars.
That’s 10% of this year’s 7.5 million dollar goal.
It’s crediting workplace campaigns, especially in the oil sands, for helping bring the total up so quickly.
The campaign runs until November 16th.
