The United Way has a hefty goal for this year’s Community Campaign, a target of $8 million dollars.
The organization lauched the campaign this morning at MacDonald Island Park.
It marks the start of fundraising which supports organizations under the United Way umbrella.
Last year, United Way raised about $7.8 million dollars.
