Upshall re-signs in St.Louis

Fort McMurrayite and former Fort McMurray Oil Barons Scottie Upshall will spend the 2016-17 NHL season in St. Louis.

Upshall has re-signed with the Blues for one season, the deal according to St. Louis Post-Dispatch beat writer Jeremy Rutherford is worth $900,000 U.S.


The local boy notched 14 points in 70 games for the Blues last season. In 623 career regular season NHL games he’s accumulated 121 goals and 127 assists for 248 career points.

St. Louis opens the regular season in Chicago on Oct. 12.
