A coalition of US environmental and liberal groups is stepping up it’s lobbying campaign against the Keystone XL oilsands pipeline.
They sent a letter to the President that says building TransCanada’s project would up oilsands production which is incompatible with efforts to fight climate change.
The letter comes after reports that suggest the Harper government has promised the States it’s setting emissions targets for the oil and gas industry.
