The water supply in Anzac and Gregoire Lake Estates is back to normal.
The Municipality’s Underground services branch had to bring in water last week, while the regular supplier, Clearwater Hauling fell behind schedule because of training.
The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo (RMWB) will be taking over the service this spring.
“We’ll be slowly training our own guys, Clearwater has been very supportive helping us through the transition,” said Steve Polem, Supervisor, RMWB Underground services. “We’ll be slowly taking over the transition, it just won’t be overnight. Clearwater will be hauling in some areas, but the municipality will be hauling also.”
The communities don’t have regular water and sewer service and trucks regularly haul in water and haul out sewage.
