WBEA looking for strong smelling volunteers

The Wood Buffalo Environmental Association is looking for people with a good nose.

Working through its Human Exposure Monitoring Program, the WBEA is launching a new community odour monitoring project.

It’s recruiting volunteers to be specially trained in detecting, monitoring, and tracking odours throughout the community.

Specialized training is offered to those selected to participate – and the Association says the time commitment is barely noticeable.

The information sessions are:

Thursday, May 9th, 11am
WBEA Office
#100-330 Thickwood Blvd.

Thursday, May 9th, 7pm
MacDonald Island Park
Athabasca Room

Interested Fort McMurray residents can also:

– contact WBEA directly at 780-799-4420,
