Your Community Event: The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo is introducing a literacy program entitled Words in Motion. This pilot program, which will celebrate National Poetry Month during April 2012, was created to promote literacy and allow new and existing writers an opportunity to share their poetry. Words in Motion is open to the people of all ages and skill levels.
Poetry can be submitted from Jan 6 – Feb 6, 2012.

An external panel will select poetry based on predetermined criteria. Selected poems will be displayed on the inside of local Public Transit Buses for the month of April.
