Wood Buffalo drivers who run a green light could soon be getting a ticket in the mail.
That is, if they’re going too fast.
The municipality has installed Intersection Safety Devices, or ISDs, at some intersections.
They’ll measure your speed as you go through the green light, and if you’re going too fast, you’ll get a ticket.
The Go Slow on Green campaign starts on August 1st, but it’ll just mean warning tickets until September, when every ISD will be fully activated.
