Big news for Oil Barons defenceman Colton Parayko.
The six foot four d-man has received a scholarship to play at the University of Alaska-Fairbanks.
It’s a division one school in one of the best NCAA conferences, the CCHA.
Parayko won’t start there until 2012 at the earliest, so he’ll still be a key returnee for this year’s Barons squad.
