Telus is giving $175,000 to the Northern Lights Health Foundation.
NLHF development officer Stephanie Power explains this partnership came about last year, when Telus approached the foundation, and offered to donate 100 dollars for ever new user who subscribed to their Optik TV, with a maximum of $175,000 to be donated.
The money will be used to buy new equipment, including a pulmonary function test system, which can diagnose asthma and COPD.
