RMWB announced changes to bus routes

Route changes are being implemented to public transit routes 7, 8 and 10 in an effort to accommodate users. The changes will be in effect August 29, the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo announced today.

The adjustments will accommodate passengers travelling from south routes to south destinations on Franklin Avenue. Public transit buses for these routes will now travel along Franklin Avenue instead of Highway 63.

Stops included in all three routes are: Composite High School, Keyano College and the Syncrude Sport and Wellness Centre. After arriving at these stops the buses will make their way up Franklin Avenue to the Main Street transfer station.
