Municipality cracking down on drive-thru traffic blocking

If you line up on the road to get into the Thickwood Tim Hortons, your double-double might end up costing you almost two-hundred dollars.

The municipality announced today that bylaw officers will be enforcing no stopping zones on Thickwood between Signal Road and Ross Haven drive.

For now, the officers will just be monitoring the lineups at the drive-thru and warning drivers who line up on the street.

But when they start handing out tickets, it’ll cost you $172.
