The Northern Lights Regional Health Centre is getting two million dollars worth of renovations.
It says the hospital’s intensive care unit will be expanded from six to seven beds, and feature bigger rooms and more bathrooms.
Construction will start in November and finish next Spring.
Until then, a temporary ICU will be on the main floor of the hospital.
Northern Lights says it will offer the same level of service as the current ICU.
