Trial following deaths of Chinese workers pushed back another year

The trial of three oil sands companies that were charged in the deaths of two Chinese workers has been pushed back another year.

Sinopec Shanghai Engineering, SSEC Canada, and Canadian Natural resources are facing 53 Occupational Health and Safety charges after the workers died in April of 2007.

The trial was supposed to start on October third, but it’s now scheduled for October 1st of next year – that’ll be more than five years after the workers died.
