Norwegian police will ask a court to extend the pre-trial detention of confessed mass killer Anders Behring Breivik by eight weeks — half of them in isolation.
The 32-year-old will go before the Oslo District Court in a closed hearing today for his third court appearance since the Oslo bombing and shooting massacre at a nearby island youth camp. Seventy people died in the attacks.
