Facilitator Training

Facilitation is an essential skill for anyone interested in increasing their ability to lead others. This may apply to team leaders, managers, supervisors, teachers, or individuals wishing to volunteer as a facilitator at Canadian Mental Health Association.
Both Basic and Advanced training are offered by CMHA.  Basic training explores the definition of facilitation, how to be an effective facilitator, and how to plan and conduct facilitation sessions. The Advanced training builds on these topics and further explores how to motivate groups and maximize participation. Basic facilitation training and/or facilitation experience is a pre-requisite for the Advanced course.
Both courses will be offered on Saturday, November 5th, from 8:30-4:30 at the Bob Lamb Centre. The fee is $20 and lunch is provided. For more information or to register please contact Kate MacDonald, 780-743-1053, famsupport@woodbuffalo.cmha.ab.ca
