Events Wood Buffalo has appointed its new executive director.
David Whitelock is originally from Scotland and brings a wide array of experience to the table. He started off with art school, then moved on to writing for a UK rock and pop magazine, followed by a move to record companies and a recording studio.
Whitelock has organized 29 major festivals attracting crowds of more than two hundred thousand people. He succeeds Claude Giroux, who has moved to Vancouver.
