The Fort McMurray Oil Barons have acquired 1992-born forward Brett Printz from the Olds Grizzlys for future considerations.
The 6’2″, 202 pound forward has 1 goal and 3 assists for 4 points in 13 games this season with Olds, with 21 penalty minutes.
Last year, he scored 8 goals and 14 assists for 22 points in 43 games.
Printz is a former minor hockey teammate of current Baron forwards Jaret Smith and Wyat Haustein. All three played in the Red Deer Rebels minor system.
MOB Head Coach and General Manager Gord Thibodeau says Printz will arrive in town on Friday.
That night, the Barons will be playing Printz’s former team, the Olds Grizzlys, at 8:00 (pregame coverage at 7:45 on Country 93.3).
