Thousands of demonstrators formed a human chain around the White House, to show how upset they were about TransCanada’s proposed Keystone XL pipeline.
Actor and activist Mark Ruffalo was at yesterday’s protest, and he says that the seven-billion dollar project would be a “huge attack on our climate.” Ruffalo, along with fellow actors Darryl Hannah and Robert Redford, have spoken out publicly against the project.
