Despite giving up the first goal to the last-place St. Albert Steel last night, the Fort McMurray Oil Barons scored five unanswered goals for their second straight win.
Head Coach Gord Thibodeau says the early deficit wasn’t a major worry.
“Obviously you don’t like to go down to start the game, but stuff happens,” he said. “It’s not like we’re not used to battling back.”
The Barons are on the road this weekend starting Friday in Drumheller, before heading to Camrose and St. Albert for a rematch.
