Standoff suspect pleads not guilty

A Fort McMurray man charged in an armed standoff with police has pleaded not guilty to the charges against him.

31-year-old Timothy Galliah is facing weapons charges after the incident back in mid-July, which lasted for 16 hours. Galliah was also ordered to undergo a 30-day psychiatric evaluation.

He’s facing a number of weapons charges after barricading himself inside an Eagle Ridge Home. His trial is set to begin on June 18th.
