The Fort Chipewyan winter road is now open.
There’s a load limit of forty-five hundred kilograms and speed limit of fifty kilometres an hour.
The municipality is recommending that only four-by-four vehicles be used because of rough and narrow sections, as well as signage still being installed.
It says there are still lots of slippery sections and flooding crews will still be out working on the road.
The weight restrictions will go up as conditions get better.
