Almost half of BC supports Northern Gateway: poll

A new poll shows more British Columbians support the Northern Gateway oil sands pipeline than oppose it.

Ipsos Reid says 48 percent of BC residents are in favour of the project; 14 percent of them support it strongly.

Only 32 percent oppose it, 13 percent of them opposing it strongly.

The margin of error on the poll was 3.1 percent, 19 times out of 20.
