CFIB gives Alberta a "D" for small business regulations

The Canadian Federation of Independent Business has released it’s red tape report cards this week.

Alberta’s score rose from an “F” to a “D” this year.

Richard Truscott with the CFIB says that Premier Alison Redford deserves most of the credit for the improvement, saying that it’s because she’s identified the regulatory issues as a concern for her government.

Truscott says small business owners will make red tape a major election issue.
