Pro-oilsands advocate Ezra Levant was in Fort McMurray for a speaking engagement at Keyano College.
The blogger and former lawyer says that Fort McMurray and the industry should be proud of the work being done, because oilsands extraction is done in a “morally superior” way.
After that, the government of Alberta should take the industry seriously, followed by the federal government, in order for Canada’s embassador to the United States to be effective.
He says that in terms of environmental awareness, human rights, and treatment of workers, the oilsands industry is the way of the future for the oil industry.
