Wood Buffalo RCMP say they’ve charged an 18-year old Fort McMurray man in connection with a sexual assault that happened in late December.
It happened at 4pm on December 30th in the Thickwood area near Signal Road, where a 24-year old woman was threatened with a knife and assaulted in an outdoor area.
Police say they located and charged Kemron Alexander on Monday with Aggravated Sexual Assault, Aggravated Assault, Robbery, Forcible Confinement, and Uttering Threats; they say it wasn’t a random attack.
