CNRL: Horizon outage to last until March

Canadian Natural Resources Limited says output from its Horizon mine won’t return to full levels until mid-to-late March.

CNRL took down the plant last week for repairs, saying it expected the work to be done quickly.

Now it says the damage is worse than it first thought.

The outage means the company has lowered its 2012 output targets by 12 thousand barrels per day.

A fire at Horizon more than a year ago caused it to be shut down for several months.
