A 21 year old man was caught by police driving 180 kilometres an hour down Confederation Way.
Garnet Bresson was arrested and charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and given a 24-hour alcohol related driving suspension.
The speed limit on that part of Confed is 60 kilometres an hour.
The road was snowy and slippery at the time and the car – a four-door sedan – had three passengers in it.
Police did not say when the incident happened.
