OHS investigates two seperate worker deaths

Occupational Health and Safety is investigating two seperate incidents that left two workers dead. OHS says that the first happened on Friday, when a 32 year old guide from Golder Associates Limited died after leaving a camp to travel by snowmobile to nearby Fort Chipewyan. His body was found a distance away from his snowmobile. The cause of his death isn’t known.

The second was Tuesday, when a 57 year-old man employed by Banister Pipeline was crushed when a side boom flipped over in a ditch.
