AMA president not happy with healthcare inquiry

The head of the Alberta Medical Association is not happy with Premier Alison Redford’s healthcare inquiry.

In a letter posted on their website, president Dr Linda Slocombe says an inquiry that only deals with preferential access, or “queue jumping,” only bandages over the problem.

Slocombe says the inquiry must also deal with the issue of doctor intimidation.
