The municipality says it’ll be pressing ahead with amendments to the single use shopping bag bylaw.
It says after last week’s open house, feedback remained very consistently in support of more exemptions for the law.
Those could include exemptions for bulk items, prescription drugs, frozen foods, dirty or greasy items, and more.
The changes will be presented to council on the 27th.
