The plans are almost set for a new route for the Keystone XL pipeline.
At an energy conference in Texas, TransCanada announced that their new plans are almost complete, and anticipate re-submitting their permit request to the US state department in the coming weeks.
The company had to come up with an alternate route to the one originally submitted, as the pipeline would have then been a risk to a regional aquifer in Nebraska.
