Jim Boucher has been removed as Chief of the Fort McKay First Nation.
The Federal Court stripped him of the title this week after voting irregularities in last year’s election that he won by one vote.
The runner up, Cecilia Fitzpatrick, claimed that disabled voters were allowed to vote with the help of their relatives, when only election officers are allowed to do that.
It’s not clear whether there will be a new election.
