The Fort McKay First Nation says removed chief Jim Boucher will appeal the decision that removed him from office.
The federal court disallowed Boucher’s election last week because of voting irregularities.
The case was launched by the runner-up, Cecilia Fitzpatrick, who lost by only one vote.
The court agreed it was wrong that people other than election officials were allowed to help voters mark their ballots.
